The First Berliner Art Book 2025 – 10 Year Jubilee Exclusive Edition
Dr. Gabriela Caranfil is an international art curator and art manager based in Berlin, known for her work in promoting contemporary art and cultural projects. In her ten year activity she has been involved in various initiatives that bridge the gap between artists, audiences and institutions. One of her notable projects is The First Berliner Art Book Series, which she has curated as part of her role at Art Management Berlin.
The current edition of The First Berliner Art Book 2025.
is a 10 Year Jubilee Exclusive Art Book with a selection of the most published and representative artists of each Year – ten artists from the 2016 to 2025 publications.
The First Berliner Art Book Series is a curated collection of art books that showcase the works of international contemporary artists, often focusing on those connected to the vibrant worldwide art scene. The series aims to document and promote emerging and established artists, providing a platform for their work to reach a wider audience. It also serves as a resource for art enthusiasts, collectors and scholars interested in contemporary art practices.
More than 200 international artists who were included in the current contemporary art series have benefitted not only from constant international exposure but also from personal and group exhibitions at Art Management Berlin. The First Berliner Art Book series and the artists in our books have been granted advertising and even financial support from the Sony Center am Potsdamer Platz Berlin, which has constantly supported us during these ten years of activity and which we would like to thank immensely for all its dedication and enthusiastic support of our artistic project.
Dr. Caranfil’s approach to curation often emphasises interdisciplinary collaboration, innovation and accessibility. Through her work, she seeks to defend ethics and aesthetics in contemporary art and to create meaningful connections between artists and the public, fostering a deeper understanding of contemporary art. Her efforts with The First Berliner Art Book Series reflect her commitment to supporting artists and contributing to Berlin’s reputation as a global hub for art and culture.
An immense Thank You to all those involved in various departments of Art Management Berlin who have made it possible for the current 10 Year Jubilee Edition of The First Berliner Art Book 2025 to come out as an exclusive jubilee edition to be celebrated globally under an aura of originality, exclusiveness and exquisite tastes in contemporary art.
